MIAW Games - First Day

MIAW games, is a intercompany sports competition organized by the Boys for Boys. This year marks the second annual MIAW games, which began last year, where 2nd Kuching was crowned the Champions after battling in 7 events.

This year, there are a total of 8 events, and the first day's events are Basketball, Futsal and Captain's Ball. Futsal and Basketball started early in the morning at about 8. Our teams arrived earlier and made a deal to wear white(Futsal) and green(basketball). However, two on the basketball team arrived in black....

We clinched first place in both Futsal and Basketball, leading the pack. At lunch break, we went to a nearby store to eat. We went back to prepare for the afternoon's Captain's Ball event. During the first match, Pte Kit Yang broke his legs, and had to operate the following day. Here we wish him a speedy recovery, and God bless. Because of our Boys' concern for him, we ignored the game to help carry him out. We lost the first match, tied the second, and won the third. Leading to a tiebreaker with 6th Kch to clinch the 2nd place. We won by about 10-1.

Everyone was sunburned and tired, so we welcomed some cold drinks that were sold by the organizing committee. The day ended well with 4th Kch in the lead with 2 Golds, 1 Silver.

New Blog, New Webmaster

Yup, its the new blog, I made it based on the advice on the previous webmaster, Ben. Because he said that the previous blog had some coding errors, and refused to give me the ID and Password...

Anyway, this is the new blog, and hopefully, a will be well blogged, and updated frequently...
